Washington Homes

Alabama Hill Neighborhood

The neighborhood of Alabama Hill is centered on Alabama Street, which runs west to east and ends at Lake Whatcom. This family-friendly (and dog-friendly), residential neighborhood is known for its serene streets and its parks, which includes St. Clair Park and portions of Whatcom Park, both located in the south end of the community. Alabama Hill, which is the "tallest hill" in Bellingham, is an older area, and a significant portion of the properties were built between the 1960s and 1980s. This neighborhood is also about a 10-miute drive east of the downtown core.
