Bow

Bow is an unincorporated community in Skagit County, and has become a destination for many, thanks to the views of Samish Bay, the vibrant organic food community, and the hipster hot-spot, Edison. Bow is comprised of single-family homes. Population density is low, with large areas of undeveloped and agricultural land. Many homes in Bow are on acreage, and often feature views of the Bay and San Juan Islands.

Bow also includes the exclusive Samish Island. It has the charm, privacy, and exclusivity of an island...but is attached to the mainland by a spit...all the pluses of island life without having to wait for a ferry! Samish Island has about 500 single-family homes, and no downtown core or infrastructure. Many of the homes on the island are architecturally designed to take advantage of the amazing water views. There are many luxury homes and estates on the island, which draw home buyers from across the Western US and beyond. The historic town of Edison is also part of Bow, WA. Edison has homes on traditional city-sized lots. Many of the homes are from the early 1900’s and have maintained their historic charm. Edison has a main through fare with local restaurants featuring regional organic ingredients, taverns, and art galleries. Edison has become a popular destination for people from Bellingham, Seattle, and beyond.
